The Artsee History

Artsee Networks started pre-2000 as Artseefartsee.com, the very first Malaysian arts and culture website in the era of the dial-up modem, JARING.MY and the Netscape browser.
It popularised email and web-marketing for greater Kuala Lumpur’s nascent arts industry that had limited funds to put behind artistic and creative efforts. There’s a whole story behind how this accidentally happened but we’ll leave it for another webpage.
As others attempted to follow its lead, founder, Vernon Adrian Emuang, never a fighter, always a lover, quickly reconfigured the brand to shift-shape into something more useful and necessary for the arts and culture scene, helping it evolve in new ways.
